Jesus, your fiery gaze of love is on me. Your love is like a consuming, jealous, fire. You said, "Love me, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, all your strength..." Its a promise - a promise that I will love You this way, because Your Spirit is within me, and You are able. And its a promise because its how You love me. So come, burn away all that hinders love, have Your way, take the fullest of Your desires. I cannot love You God, but Ive died, and I live in Christ who is one with You. I take my place in Christ, dead, now alive, consume me, consecrate me, mark me, set me aflame, and ruin me for all else...
