Tramp'n Michigan

"When I set out, it was sleeting. I found a marble, some pretty broken glass, and memories. In ten minutes the sky let loose and it was a full on blizzard. Standing in the crossroads of the snowmobile trails, I was completely still in the great-silence and watched the magnificent white dance. Sucking the freezing air into my lungs, a rush of everything long-forgotten-familiar flooded my heart. The smell of damp mud, childhood, 'spring,' north america, pine. birch bark. the cry of the crow. It's all still there..."
